Creation Care Community

Here at Asbury Theological Seminary we believe it is our call as Christians to live a life that glorifies God and His creation.  The creation care community was developed in hopes of teaching students, staff and faculty how they can contribute to living a creation care lifestyle.  We currently have 17 families and single students participating in a community garden and covenant groups.  Starting in September the launch of covenant groups will begin.  Matthew and Nancy Sleeth the creators of Blessed Earth  http://www.blessedearth.org/ have partnered with Asbury guiding us in the right direction to begin this initiative.  Each covenant group will meet once a month to go through a blessed earth film series and to discuss and learn from each other new ways in which they can live out a creation care lifestyle.  We are excited for what the Lord is going to do with this partnership and how Asbury Theological Seminary can be an active example of how God wants us to care for His creation.

There will be an informational table set up during ATS group fair sometime in early September.  You can sign up or take a look at what CCC (Creation Care Community) is all about.

If you are interested in becoming involved with this community please contact Laura Horn laura.horn@asburyseminary.edu for more information.
